Elijah Morgan Michael – Obituary

Elijah Morgan Michael, 21, of Muscle Shoals, passed away Sunday September 9, 2012, at Huntsville Hospital.  Visitation will be 5pm until 7pm Tuesday at the Florence First Assembly of God on Helton Drive.  A celebration of life service will begin at 7pm with Rev. Greg Woodall, Rev. Anthony Martin and Rev. Bobby Morgan officiating.  Burial will be at 11am Wednesday in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.

Elijah was born in Sheffield and was a graduate of Colbert Heights High School.  He was a member of the Florence First Assembly of God and was the “Garden Guy” at Home Depot.
His passions were his love for the Lord and his music.  He was respected and loved by all who even briefly met him.
Elijah was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alton Michael.  Survivors are his parents, George Alton Michael and Sonja Gladney Michael; sister, Melanie Grinnell and husband Clint: We are so honored to call him son and brother; grandparents, Byron and Sue Gladney, and Lou and Ray Vandiver;  numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be Jake Russell, Andrew Box, Kory Lamar, Kenneth Vess, Heath Daniels and Clayton Grinnell.  Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary McMullin, Josh Lindsey, Aaron Stapler, Travis Lowary, Ryan Lindley and Scott Todd.
