Eli Reed Sokolowski, 1, of Huntsville, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 along with other family members. Those family members included his maternal grandmother, Carol Jean Smallwood; aunt, Kristen Chambers; cousins, Clayton Chambers and Loryn Brooke. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sherry Sokolowski; uncle, Jeremy Sokolowski. He is survived by his mother, Kelly Sokolowski; his father, Gannon Sokolowski; brother, Reese Sokolowski; paternal grandparents, Steve (Maria) Sokolowski; maternal grandfather, Joe Smallwood; uncles, Keith (Brittany) Smallwood, Marcelino and Dewayne Kornegay; two great grandmothers; one great grandfather; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22nd at Jackson Way Baptist Church followed by a 2:00 p.m. service with Bro. David Wiley officiating. A private burial will be held at Huntsville Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
