Elese Sansing, 82, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Born on April 19, 1943, she married Gordon Sansing on August 24, 1963. After graduating from Mississippi College in 1964, she taught school in New Orleans. She dedicated the majority her life to being a loving and devoted pastor’s wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon Sansing, her 2 sons, Mark Sansing (Michelle) and Brian Sansing (Robin), her grandchildren, Kathryn Sansing, Caroline Daley (Josh), Mason Sansing, Sloan Sansing, Jack Sansing, and Molly Sansing, and her sister, Brenda Kepner (Danny) of Pensacola, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Edith Williams.
A Memorial Service honoring her life will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 2PM at First Baptist Church-Pontotoc with Bro. Ricky Young officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5-8PM and Wednesday afternoon 12PM until service time. Baldwin Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
