Eleonora Basenberg Hamrick, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday night after a short illness. Mrs. Hamrick was born in Cullman, Alabama. She was the beloved wife of the late Ray Hamrick for 66 years. Eleonora taught school before her marriage to her lifelong love. She worked at G W Jones and Sons for over 20 years during the boom years of Huntsville. Always helping others, known for her smile, she was ready to go home to the God she loved and a wonderful reunion with Ray and family members who had gone before her.
