Funeral service for Eleanor Ruth Dodd Green, 84, of Falkville, will be 1PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Enon Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 11am to 1pm. Bro. David Stancil will officiate the service. The interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.

Mrs. Green was born May 26, 1936 to David Edward & Maude Smith Dodd. She was a dedicated member of Enon Baptist Church. She loved animals, flowers and redbirds. She married James Dewey Green on November 6, 1953.
Mrs. Green was preceded in death by her parents, David Edward & Maude Smith Dodd; husband, James Dewey Green; brothers, J.P. Dodd, Edward Dodd, Wayne Dodd; sisters, Kathleen Dodd Morgan, Iris Dodd Steed, Annis Dodd Nelson.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Green, Carol Green Thomason (Michael); sons, James Edward Green (Regina), Matthew Green (Camella); brother, Keith Dodd (Iris); sister Audrey Dodd Bales; sister in law, Helen Dodd of Boaz; grandchildren, Van Thomason, Jennifer Thomason Miller (Jason); great-granddaughters, Dorothea, Vivian, Stephanie and Julie Miller; and a host nieces, nephews, family and friends.
