Mrs. Eleanor Gwyn Sims age 92, of Boaz, passed away Monday April 19th at Marshall Medical Center South.
Funeral services will be 2pm Thursday April 22nd at Mt. Hebron Church of Boaz with Bro. Bill Rucker officiating; burial will follow in Mt. Hebron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1pm until the hour of service.
Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
Mrs. Sims is survived by her daughter Kristie B. Bearden; sons Wendell Sims (Barbara) and Galen Sims (Ginger); 12 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sister Sandra Reid.
She is preceded in death by her parents Homer and Estell Mobbs, husband Owen J. Sims; brother Lowell Mobbs.
