Eleanor Elizabeth Thigpen, 86, of Anderson died Friday, August 22, 2014 at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Monday from 3-5 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with her grandsons, J.C. Sims, Chris Sims and Stevie Corum speaking. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stevie Corum, Holden Corum, Chris Sims, Dell Thigpen, Craig Thigpen and Tim Litral.
Mrs. Thigpen was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Oneal Thigpen; parents, Marvin and Emma Lee Craig; son-in-law, Homer Corum; and brother-in-law, Bill Litral. She is survived by her children, Wanda Jean Corum, Gayther Thigpen, Linda Kay (Jr.) Sims and Oneal (Debbie) Thigpen; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sister, Opalene Litral; and numerous nieces and nephews.
