Eldon Eugene Garner age 59 of Cordova, passed away on Thursday March 1, 2018. He was a member of Union Chapel Church of God and Victory Assembly Church of God; he was an avid Alabama fan and he loved to play and sing gospel and country music.
Funeral services will be Monday March 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Jay Trayal and Rev. Brian Tidwell will officiate. Burial will follow in New Horizon Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 12:30-2 pm.
He was preceded in death by his grandson, Zachary Dewayne “Bubba” Isbell; parents. Carlos Edward and Victoria Garner; siblings, Carla Arlene Garner, John Garner, Anita Garner and Kai Destiny Russell and nieces, Tamela Garner and Angela Renee Frost.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rita “Cinderelly” Garner; daughter, Shelly Donelle Isbell; grandchildren, Malea Anne and Katlyn Nicole Isbell; sister, Debra Gregory (Roy) and brothers, Leslie Garner (Susie), David Garner (Debbie) and Allen Garner; several other relatives and many friends.
