Elaine Morris McCurley, 80, died Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at North Ms. Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. She was born in Itawamba County, MS and worked in garment manufacturing.
Services will be Friday, January 15, 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jackie Hastings officiating. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by two children – Gwen Hill (Charles) and Frankie Devall; five grandchildren – Amanda Johnson (Rusty), Josh Hill (Stephanie), Joel Hill (Cassi), Hunter Devall and Shelby Devall and eight great-grandchildren – Emma Johnson, Evan Johnson, Isaac Johnson, Charlie Johnson, Sarah Hill, Josiah Hill, Grayson Hill and Stella Franks.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Terry McCurley and George Washington and Lema Johnson Morris.
Pallbearers will be Hunter Devall, Shelby Devall, Josh Hill, Joel Hill, Rusty Johnson and Charles Hill.
Visitation will be Friday, January 15, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
