Effie Mae Jackson, 81, of Tuscumbia, died Sunday, June 8, 2014. Visitation will be 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. today. The funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday June 11, at Friendship Community Church. She will lie in state at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Baptist Cemetery. Frankie Sheats will officiate.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Ellis, Johnny Ellis, and James Jackson Jr.; her daughters, Ruby Homan, Grace Ellis, and Charlotte Chamberlain; her sister, Grace Littleton; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Darrian Thompson, Andy Chamberlain, Tony Chamberlain, Brad Coleman, and Daniel White.
