Edwin Joe Hann, 80 of Empire, passed away Thursday Sept. 11, 2025, at his home surrounded by famil.y
He was a loving father, Papa and brother. He was an avid Alabama football fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife Glenda “Mimi” Hann, his parents, Lenzia and Opal Hann, and his sisters, Joyce Smith and Sharon Hann.
Survivors include his son, Joey Hann and wife Wendy; grandchildren, Drake Hann, Madison Hann (Elijah) and Alyssa Ireland; great grandchildren, Lydia and Emerson; siblings, Annie Merle “Sunshine” Freeman, Lenzia “Junior” Hann (Reba) and Debra South (Victor; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, and his fur baby Ozzy “Cord biter”.
Funeral services will be Monday Sept. 15, 2025, at 5:00 pm in the New Horizon Memorial Chapel. Rev. Rick Levell will officiate. The family will receive friends from 4-5 pm.
