Edwin Jerome Marrs, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, January 14, 2019 at the age of 61. His visitation was Tuesday, January 15, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Richard Parker officiating. Burial will follow in Shaw Cemetery.
Edwin was a native of Middleton, Tennessee and a member of the Lighthouse Church in Pineview, Tennessee. He retired from the U.S. Army having served during Desert Storm.
Survivors include his loving wife, Martha Marrs; mother, Marie Qualls Marrs; sons, Adam Fisher and Coty Marrs; daughters, Adrena Roush, Polly Sexton and Kristina White; brother, Brannon Marrs; sisters, Bonnie Curtis, Rose Marrs Alkishawi and Sharla Marrs Bowman; 12 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Michelle and the staff of Keller Hospice.
Pallbearers will be Chandler Sexton, Caleb Sexton, Thomas Roush, Ricky Stone, Chris Sexton and Jay Cook. All of Edwin’s granddaughters will serve as honorary pallbearers.
