Edward Woodrow Anderson, age 84 of Decherd, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Decherd on December 6, 1937 to the late Edgar Issac and Alma Jessie (Pharr) Anderson. Before his retirement, he was employed as the plant manager at Diversatech. In his spare time, he enjoyed rebuilding antique cars, and dune buggies and motorcycles. But most of all, Edward enjoyed spending time getting together with his beloved family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandsons, David Edward Steele and Dalton Max Wiseman; sister, Dolly Mae Anderson; and brother, Wills Anderson. Edward is survived by his loving wife of sixty-five years, Patricia Ann Anderson of Decherd; children, Julie (David) Steele of Tullahoma, Linda (Bruce) Semke of Decherd, Tommy (Susan) Anderson of Belvidere, Lori (Jamie) Sons of Decherd, and James (Donna) Anderson of Decherd; siblings, Thelma Sue Baker of Manchester, Plesey Reynolds Anderson of Decherd, and Walter Robert (April) Anderson of Decherd; grandchildren, Brandy (Ruben) Jones, Moranda Steele, EAmilya (Dillon) Hendon, Laithen Steele, Heavnli Steele, Deanna Baker, Haley Boyd, Jaycee Baker, Jessie McClure, Jodi McGuire, Chris (Melissa) Hall, Grason Archery, Tabitha (Matt) Johnson, Samuel Anderson, Amanda Wiseman, Bubba (Britteny) Wiseman and Dustin Wiseman; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
