Edward W. “Knoby” Knoblock, Jr. of Leighton passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 83. His memorial service will be at Our Lady of the Shoals on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with Father Michael Adams officiating.
He was born on May 16, 1935 and was a member of the Our Lady of the Shoals Church. Knoby retired from Kroger after 42 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He served as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corp with an honorable discharge. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Wilma; and son, George Edward Knoblock.
Knoby is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Knoblock; daughters, Terry L. Chamness and Tonya R. Caldwell; sister, Wila Dean Harwell; and 6 grandchildren.
