Edward Nichols died at his home in Heflin on Sunday, June 27, 2021.
He is survived by his wife Judith of Heflin, his step-children Brian Dixon (Gretchen) of Mebane, NC and Athena Brown (Kerry) of Graham, AL.
He is also survived by siblings: Billy Nichols, Kenneth Nichols, Barbara Pesnell, Sharon Brown, and Brenda Noell as well as many nieces and nephews.
Edward’s most prized name though was Poppy. His grandchildren Sarah, Katelynn, Michael, and Mason Sicotte and Dylan and Zachary Dixon will miss him dearly.
He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Samuel Nichols and siblings David Nichols, Alvin Nichols, and Katherine Waits.
Cremation Services have already taken place and a family service of committal and interment of
Edwards’ cremated remains will take place at a later date.
