Mr. Edward Neal Childress, age 81, passed away November 27, 2021 at his residence.
Visitation will be Monday, November 29, 2021 6-9pm at Carr Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 30, 2021 1pm at Carr Funeral Home 1960 O’Brig Avenue Guntersville, Alabama 35976, with Bro. Carey Sims officiating. Burial to follow in the Beulah Cemetery. Tom Cherry, Tracy Baker, Benny Berry, Andy Sims, Jeff Sims, Jim Watters will be serving as pallbearers with Randy Baugh and Mark Johnson as Honorary Pallbearers.
Mr. Childress was preceded in death by, father; Charlie Franklin Childress, mother; Daisy May McCoy, sisters; Willie Mae Simpson, Ramona Lang, Sybil Ruth Bryson.
Mr. Childress is survived by wife, Dorothy Fay Childress; son, Joel (Laura) Childress; daughters, Carolyn (James) Watters, Angela Dotson; brother, Bobby Ray Childress; grandchildren, Aleisha Bryant, Jesse Smith, Hannah Childress, Parker Childress, Ashleigh Buxton, Sarah Burgess and numerous great grandchildren.
