Edward Maurice Savage, 91, of Huntsville, passed away Friday. Mr. Savage was preceded in death by his wife, Lera Wright Savage.
Mr. Savage served in the 3233rd Quartermaster Service Company from June 3, 1945 through November 1, 1946. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal and Occupation Medal. Mr. Savage was a member of Mayfair Church of Christ.
Survivors include his sisters, Dee Miller and Betty Jo Pearsall; niece, Leigh Ann Stamps and husband, Mark, Lisa Balay and husband, Naniel, and Laura Lopez; nephews, Kevin Wright and wife, Rubby, and Mike Pearsall and wife, Alisha; and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Monday, April 30, 2018 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Maple Hill Cemetery with Gary Bradley officiating.
