Edward “Marty” Elliott, age 51 of Jasper, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Smith Chapel Cemetery. Roger Hendon will officiate.
Mr. Elliott was preceded in death by his Father-Truman Elliott; Mother-Juliah Ann Mathis Patrick; Grandparents-Warren Elliott and Pauline Elliott, W.L. Mathis and Lola Belle Mathis; Son-Luke Simuel Dutton; Brother-Gary C. Hopson (Donna); Mother-in-law-Jewel C. Hopson; Father-in-law-Ettsel M. Hopson.
He is survived by his Wife-Kathy Dawn Hopson-Elliott; Son-William Coty Dutton (Pasha); Brothers-Terry D. Hopson (Teresa), Alan Kieth Hopson (Janet) and Kenneth Barry Hopson; Sisters-Tammy Brock (Charlie), Pattricia Bretherick (John), Regina Anderton (Randy), Carolyn Clements (Terry), Linda Johnson (Karl); Special nieces and nephews-Landon Boyd, Mason and Kate Boyd, Zachary and Tracy Taft, Seth Lawson, Hannah Lawson; Grandchildren-Elijah, Cailynn, Gracie-Ann.
Pallbearers will be Kieth Lawson, Justin Anderton, Randy Anderton, Dennis Harrison, Brandon Lawson, Seth Lawson.
