Edward Leon Millwood, 82, passed away November 8, 2023, at William F. Green Veteran’s Home in Bay Minette, AL. A three-time Vietnam veteran, Mr. Millwood retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service. He was born and raised in Nettleton, MS. In 1981 he met and married Robbie Jo Millwood and they shared 40 years together. He was a member of the Elks Lodge in Foley, AL, the VFW in Elberta, AL, and the American Legion Post #99. He enjoyed farming and contributing to the Nettleton Food Pantry for many years.
Survivors include his son, Ken Millwood (Debbie) of Foley, AL; daughter, Tina Jones (Allen) of Collierville, TN; sister, Nell Hand; grandchildren, Nick Millwood and Bianca Millwood; and great-grandchildren, Aidien, Avery, Luka, and Sky.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; and six siblings.
Services will be Monday, November 13, 2023, at 12PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Minister Cayce Conti officiating. Visitation will begin at 10AM and continue to service time. Burial will follow in Midway Cemetery (Lafayette County). Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc is in charge of arrangements.
