Edward L. Swords, age 85 of Albertville passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 at his home.
His Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Albertville Memorial Chapel with burial to follow at Corinth Cemetery. Rev. Steve Stewart will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Walker Abbott, Eli McClendon, Gavin McClendon, Sawyer McClendon, Daniel Pall and Roger Venable.
Visitation will be from 1 until 2 before the funeral.
He is survived by wife, Mary Swords, children, Yvonne McClendon (Greg), Kimberly Abbott (David) and Shelia Pall (John), seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by parents, L. D. and Gracie Swords, brother, Nickey Swords and sister, Virgie Vandergriff.
