Edward “Eddie” Ray Curry, 75, of Florence passed away at his residence on September 19, 2023. Eddie was born in Lincoln County, TN and was raised in Lick Skillet, AL where he attended New Sharon School and Hazel Green High School. He worked at Food World for many years and was a member of Jackson Heights Church of Christ.
A visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 10-11 am. A funeral service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home chapel with Harrison Chastain officiating.
Mr. Curry was preceded in death by parents, Woodrow and Ruby Curry; wife, Joyce Curry; brother, Jim Curry; and niece, Michelle Curry.
He is survived by brothers, Randy Curry and Larry Curry (Nancy); sisters-in-law, Linda Miller, Wanda Bolin (Richard), and Gwen Curry (Jim); nieces, Jamie Curry, Shannon Stovall (Darryl), Debra Rathz (Aaron), and Angela Baker (Troy); nephews, Patrick Curry (Jennifer), Shea Curry (Tiffany), Scott Miller (Laura), and Richard Boin, Jr. (Candi); and his faithful neighbor, Eva Garrett.
