Edward “Eddie” Eugene Myhand, age 76 of Huntsville, passed away Sunday at a local hospital. A native of Jefferson County, he has resided in Madison County most of his life. A veteran of the Air Force, he retired from the Madison County Sheriff’s Department in 1996.
Mr. Myhand is survived by his loving companion, Kay Kelley; three sons, Jeff Myhand, Chris Myhand, and Bryan Myhand; eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Spry Funeral Home of Huntsville, where the family will receive friends Monday from 4:00 until 6:00pm. Graveside service will be Tuesday at 11:00am at Huntsville Memory Gardens, with Bro Bill Cantrell officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association.
