Edward Earl Martin, 83, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mr. Martin was a US Army veteran from the Korean War and retired from NASA as an Electronic Technician. He was also a member of the North Alabama Railroad Museum.
Survivors include his wife, Anne K. Martin; seven children: Sam Martin (Ursula), Linda Martin-Bagley, Charles Martin, Janice Aldaco (Gabino), Luke Martin, Maria Valladarez (Seven), and Christopher “Toby” Martin (Kayla); brother, Bill Martin (Carol); three sisters: Emma Jo Breese, Mona Lou Beatty (Floyd) and Sandy Boyle (Bob); nine grandchildren, and eighteen greatgrandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 200 Longwood Dr. Huntsville. A 3:00 memorial service will follow with Pastor Gary Soop officiating.
Donations may be made to the church or the Alzheimer’s Association. Berryhill Funeral Home is assisting the family.
