Edward Dewayne Burton, age 70, of Jasper, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Parrish Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services will be Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Parrish Church of the Nazarene, with burial at Sardis Church of the Nazarene Cemetery. Jimmy Earnest will officiate.
Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his Parents-William J. Burton and Annie Ruth Burton; Daughter-Sonya Lynn Burton; Father-in-law-Frank Z. White.
He is survived by his Wife-Linda White Burton; Mother-in-law-Alma White; Daughter-Janice Deanne Burton Darty of Deatsville, AL; Son-Jeffrey Dewayne Burton (Courtney) of Jasper; Brothers-Clayton Burton (Peggy) of Pelham and Jerry Burton (Donna) of Curry; Grandchildren-Jenna Grimes, Allie Darty, Colton Burton, Emma Burton, Carson Burton, Ale Kimbrell and Bre Kimbrell.
Pallbearers will be Colton Burton, David Harris, Scott Harbison, Sam Cain, Randy Earnest and George Burton.
