Edna Mae Christopher Grimes, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, November 6, 2026, at her residence. She was a native of Indianapolis, IN, and a cosmetology manager. Ms. Grimes enjoyed spending time with her family and watching tv. She loved to collect decorative dragons and skulls.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale V. and Bessie Mae Helton Christopher; her husband, Jessie Grimes; one son, Troy Christopher Sr; her step-father, Myrtie Lee Gardner; several brothers; sisters; and one great-grandchild.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Deborah Christopher of Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; several in-laws; nieces; and nephews.
Those serving as pallbearers are Josh Beasley, Chris Payne, Brock Perry, Brailee Beasley, Martin Garcia, and Jackie Gibson.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2026, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 12, 2026. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
