Funeral service for Edna Jane Weir, 90, of Walnut is set for Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at 11 am at Brush Creek Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 5 pm-7 pm at Magnolia Funeral Home and Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 10 am until service time at Brush Creek Baptist Church. Born December 5, 1929 in Pochantas, TN., Edna passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. She was a retired assembly line worker for ITT with 15 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church. Edna loved gardening, fishing and being outdoors. She may have been a tiny woman but she was a strong willed lady. Edna loved her family and life and she did it her way. She is survived by her husband, Robert Weir of Corinth; son, Ray Mills and wife Patti of Matthews, MO; Joyce Mills of Walnut; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends. Edna is preceded in death by her 1st husband and father of her children, Floyd Mills; son, Glen Mills; father, Joseph Stone; mother, Nancy Stone; brother, George Jolly and sisters, Virginia Parker and Bertha Jo Miller. Pallbearers will be Randy Wilbanks, Reese Wilbanks, Clayton Mills, Matthew Parker, Houston Patrick and Chris Ruble. Pastor Zane Parker and Pastor Cody Hill will officiate the service.
