Edna Harrop Wright, of Huntsville, Alabama, passed away Friday, Sept. 12, 2014. Born on April 9, 1936, in Fall River, Massachusetts, she travelled throughout the U.S. as a Navy wife eventually settling in Florence, Alabama where she raised her family. Her gentle kindness will be missed by all those who loved her. Services will be private.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Elmer Wright.
She is survived by her brothers, George Harrop, Massachusetts, and Frank Harrop, Ohio; her children, Gayle Wright Bridges, Sheffield, Alabama, Karen Wright, Huntsville, Alabama, Charlene Wright Ogata, Lake Wylie, South Carolina, Charles Wright Jr., Coeur D’ Alene, Idaho, and Lori Wright Smith, Madison, Alabama; and by her grandchildren, Kevin and Nathan Freeman, Kelsey Ogata, and Duncan and Chloe Smith; and one great-grandson.
