Edna B. Wooten – Obituary

Edna B. Wooten passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2017, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka, MS. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Friday, December 29, 2017, at 10:30 A.M., at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with burial to follow at Corinth National Cemetery. Charlie Browning will be officiating the service. There will be a visitation on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Magnolia Funeral Home, from 5:00 PM– 9:00 PM. Mrs. Wooten was born in Sunderland, England on June 2, 1923. She went to work at an early age and later she served in the British Royal Army. She also worked at ITT for 25 years. Mrs. Wooten was of the Baptist Faith and a member of Tate Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, David Wooten and wife Jeannie of Counce, TN, other relative and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by his husband George Clinton Wooten; her father, Tommy Wilson; her mother, Amelia Winslow Wilson; and her brother Ken Bradford. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Edna B. Wooten.
