Edith South Young, age 86, of Florence, Alabama died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012. The visitation will be Sat. Oct. 13th from 9:00-10:30a.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights. A graveside service will follow at Hendrix Chapel Cemetery. Wayne Geans and John Richards will be officiating.
She was preceded in death by one sister, two grandsons.
She is survived by her sons Larry, Gary and David Young; daughters Nancy Balentine and Sue Richards, 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; best friend Esther Williams and special friend Sue Cauthen.
Pallbearers will be James Robert Young, Brad Young, Michael Young, Drew Richards, Stephen Lovell and Sam Aday.
Morrison Funeral Home, Central Heights is directing.
