Edith Marie Justice, 81, known by many as Marie, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side April 29, 2024.
She was preceded by her husband of 13 years, Bobby Justice; parents Leon & Lizzie Sharp; and infant brother Roy Charles Sharp.
Marie is survived by her son, Larry Justice (Donna); sister Terri Riddle; brothers Jimmy Sharp and Jackie Sharp; granddaughter Lauren Quick (Ryan); and many nieces and nephews.
Born in Huntsville, Alabama, she spent many years enjoying being a housewife and mother, then started a career with Motorola, to retire from Avocent. Marie enjoyed spending time with family, working in her yard and planting flowers. She knew Jesus as her Lord and Savior and shared that with many over years of being a Sunday school teacher at Wears Chapel Baptist Church. She was a devoted and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Marie will forever be missed.
The family will be receiving friends on Thursday May 2, from 10:00am – 11:00am, with a service to follow at 11:00am at Berryhill Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at Rice Cemetery for the family where she will be laid to rest.
