Edith Marie Gooch, age 90 of Athens, passed away Monday, April 27, 2020 at Limestone Health Facility.
Mrs. Gooch was born August 31, 1929 in Tennessee to Walter Marvin Croley and Hattie Boyd Croley.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alvin Gooch, one brother, Joe Croley, three sisters, Mira Ramsey, Frances Brooks, and Bettie Moyers.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary Johnson, four brothers, Rowe Croley, Kenneth Croley and wife Sadie, Aubrey Croley, Andy Croley and wife Kathy; four sisters, Marvilene Hargrove, Rena Turner, Barbara Davis, Sandra Wales and husband Buford.
There will be a private graveside service Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Sardis Springs Church Cemetery.
