Edith Lucille Wood age 83, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Wood was born March 7, 1930 in Limestone County to Henry Hargrove and Clara Hamby Hargrove.
Services for Mrs. Wood are Friday, November 29, 2013 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be Thursday, November 28, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery with Rev. George Whitten officiating.
She was a member of East Highland Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Charles Wayne Wood and Steven Barry Wood; daughters, Debi Taylor and husband Mahlon and Diane Meherg and husband Joey; grandchildren, Brad Taylor, Chad Taylor, Amanda Wood, Kaley Meherg, Josey Meherg, Phillip Hampton and Ayden Meherg; great-grandchildren, Preston Taylor and Zoe Taylor; sister, Kathleen Baugher.
She is preceded in death by her husband Buford Wood and parents Henry and Clara Hargrove.
Pallbearers are Steve Wood, Danny Wood, Nathan Smith, Brad Taylor, Chad Taylor and Joey Meherg.
