Edith Harrison age 90 of Lester, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at Limestone Health facility. Mrs. Harrison was born November 19, 1923 in Prentiss County, MS to William Austin Duncan and Minnie Smith Duncan.
Graveside services will be Thursday, October 2, 2014 1:00 p.m., at New Salem Cemetery with Ray Blankenship officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 1, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harrison was a member of Salem United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Harrison.
Survived by one daughter, Carolyn Weatherford and husband, Buddy of Athens; four grandchildren, Rhonda Linginfelter of Nashville, TN, Jeff Weatherford and wife, Starla of Athens, Stephanie Turner of Athens and Greg Weatherford and wife, Sandra of Lester; eight great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Weatherford, Greg Weatherford, Jeff Weatherford, Joey Linginfelter, Harrison Bowling and Josh Maples.
