Funeral Services for Mrs. Edith Feather, age 66 of Ashland, will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Benefield Funeral Home in Lineville, with Bro. James Hendrix officiating. Burial will follow at Faith Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Feather passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at her residence. Mrs. Feather had worked for several years at Higgins Manufacturing in Lineville, over 15 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Clay County Nursing Home, and having a heart for children, especially those with special needs, she served in the children’s ministry at church and over 27 years at the Maranatha Christian Academy. She was currently a member of The House of Prayer.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joe Feather, one daughter, Danielle Lanee Absher (Michael) of Ashland; 3 grandchildren, Dakota James Mitchell, Jacob Matthew Absher, Sierra Nicole Absher; and one sister, Rosemary Howell (Jimmy) of Rockford.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester Wilson and Ola Kathryn Graben Wilson; one son, Jeremy Wilson Feather; and one sister, Kathy Wilson.
Active Pallbearers will be Dakota Mitchell, Larry Archer, Bruce Schwendeman, Justin Meek, Gary Martin, and Jesse Lindsey.
The family request NO Flowers however memorial contributions to help with funeral expenses would be appreciated.
