Edith Fay Foster, 85, of Iuka, MS, died Thursday, December 8, 2016, at Tishomingo Community Living Center. Edith Fay was a member of the Iuka church of Christ. She enjoyed gardening, being involved with the Ladies Class at church, visiting with people and volunteering at the nursing home. She also enjoyed church singings, especially the Diana Singing and the Cox Boulevard Singing. Visitation is scheduled for 11:00 until 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Dwight Pharr and Lance Foster. Interment will follow in Carters Cemetery. Pallbearers include Michael Rone, Lucas Lambert, Ethan Puckett, Collin Rone, Courtney Prather, and Matt Hinds. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Puckett, Sheila Owens (Rick), and Pamela Foster; her son, Jim Foster (Sheila); her grandchildren, Dionne Lambert, Michael Rone, Jason Puckett, Michelle Edmonston, Jared Penna, Matt Hinds, Joe Hill, Jon Hill, Desiree Ducet, Bianca Falcon, Josh George, and Susan McCoy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mirtie Cole; her husband, Leroy Foster; her daughter, Lana Powell; her grandson, Jeff Penna; her brother, Lee Cole; and her sisters, Mary Young and Marie Burns. Memorials may be made to PineVale Children’s Home, Doug Farr Memorial at the Iuka church of Christ, Maywood Christian Camp, or to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
