Funeral service for Mrs. Edith Edwina Driver-Coleman of Athens, Alabama will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Elkmont Cumberland Presbyterian Church in America (18900 West Church Street Elkmont, AL 35620) with Pastor Clint Scales, Sr., officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Interment and committal will be at Thatch Mann cemetery in Athens, Alabama.
On Friday, June 6, 2025, public viewing will be held from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m., Eastern Star ceremony will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m., and family visitation will be held from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
Mrs. Edith Coleman transitioned from her earthly home to her heavenly home at 9:55 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, surrounded by her family. Rest in peace. We love you!
