Edith Catherine Cook, 86, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday.
Mrs. Cook was a native and lifelong resident of Madison County. She was retired from Mallory Industries and SCI Corporation. Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her husband: Norman Raymond Cook, Sr. son: Norman Raymond “Bubba” Cook, Jr.; sister: Virginia Ikard; and brother: Charles “Bub” Ikard.
Survivors include her two daughters: Cathy Whitehead and Sandra C. Wilbourn; three sons: Tommy Cook, Jon Cook, and William “Bill” Cook; three sisters: Martha Banum, Carolyn Glover, and Ann Dukemineer (Charles); brother John Ikard (Faye); ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Berryhill Funeral Home. Chapel service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. James O. Wilbourn officiating followed by burial at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
