Edith Castle Hallmark, age 71, passed away Aug. 18, 2016. Visitation will be today from 6-8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be Sunday, Aug. 21, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Mrs. Hallmark was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hallmark; daughter, Josephine Denise Hallmark; great-grandson, Dacoda Heigle; brothers, Bill Castle and Jimmy Castle; and sisters, Marlene Troy and Barbara Lansdell.
She is survived by her children, Reba Andonna Heigle (Tim) and Madeline Judith Kearns (Curtis); grandchildren, Robert Curtis Kearns and Timothy Joseph Heigle Jr.; great-grandchildren, Lauren Ashleigh Kearns, Tristan Rain Heigle, and Kaiden Joseph Heigle; sisters, Charlene Campbell, Sheila Ogle, Laura Faye Gooch, Delores Watkins, Loretta Johnson, and Deborah Berry; brothers, Ronald Frazier, Dennie Price, and Mickey Price; special sister-in-law, Teri Kinney; and best friend, Maureen.
Pallbearers will be Robert Kearns, Timothy Heigle Jr., Mark Campbell, Bubba Watkins, Michael Castle, and Daniel Price. Honorary pallbearers will be David Allen, Jonathan Glaze, and David Price.
Edith was the matriarch of her family and will be greatly missed by family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
