Edith Carmaletta Farmer, 74, of Tuscumbia, passed away Jan. 23, 2014.
Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 25, from 10-11 a.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with services to begin at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommie Bascom and Edith Lee Laney Boggs.
Survivors include her sons, Jeff Handley (SaDonna), of Tuscumbia, and Kevin Handley (Jamie, life partner), of Las Vegas, Nev.;
daughter, Linda DeNeal LeFan (Michael), of Collinwood, Tenn.;
brother, Tommy Boggs (Carol);
sister, Joan Woolard (Jack);
ten grandchildren; and four-and-a-half great-grandchildren (one on the way).
Pallbearers will be Cameron Handley, Caleb Handley, Jamie Pratt, Tony Handley, Mark Handley and Mark Farley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Haston Handley Adams, Michael Chance LeFan, and Journey Joshua Cody LeFan.
Momma was always a loving and caring mother and “memot”. She would do anything for her children and grandchildren; always there when we called. “Momma, we won’t forget you.”
