Edith Brewer, 75, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2023, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Edith was born on December 16, 1947, in Alabama to Elton Berdail and Lucille Edwards Kramer and was raised in Snow Lake, AR. She married Irvin Bailey II and together they had 8 children. Later Edith married Glenn Brewer and was a housewife until they moved to Mississippi. She enjoyed family time, and joking with her children and grandchildren, and also loved to cook.
Edith is survived by her siblings, Eunice Hutchinson (Sam), Jimmy Kraner, Jackie Edwards (Kathleen), Jerry Kramer (Thelma), Joe Kramer (Rhonda), and David Kramer (Melissa); her children, Irvin Bailey III, Jimmy Bailey (Kelley), Billy Bailey, Michael Bailey (Deedee), Patricia Allen (Conway), and Rebecca Bradley (Mark); 21 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Brewer; grandchild, Sofia Bailey; 2 sons, David Lee Bailey and Infant baby Bailey; and 2 sisters-in-law, Martha Kraner and Judy Kramer.
Services will be Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 2PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc with Bro. Mark Bradley officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 12th 5-8PM at Tutor Memorial Funeral Home in Pontotoc and Thursday, July 13th 1PM until service time. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Bailey, Patrick Westmoreland, Wayne Bailey, Michael Bailey, Christian Bailey, and Timothy Bailey. Honorary Pallbearers will be Lebanon Bradley, Brendan Bailey, Noah Westmoreland, and Luke Bailey.
