Edith Angela “Ann” Weaver Driver, 71, of Scottsboro, died Monday at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Driver was a longtime resident of Huntsville prior to her retirement. She worked many years offering in-home childcare and alongside her husband for both Jackson Way Baptist Church and the Huntsville City School System.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Larry Driver; mother, Clara Wilson; father and stepmother, Buddy and Betty Weaver; Brothers, David (Helen), Gary, Allen, and Greg (Diane) Weaver; mother-in-law, Teenie Driver; and brother-in-law, Stanley Driver.
Ann is survived by sons; Chris Driver (her caregiver), Scott (Windy) Driver and Ray (Jan) Terrell; grandchildren, Kane Reimer, Kelsey Driver, and Chassity Terrell; brother-in-law, Kenneth Driver; special sisters, Aunt Earline Jenkins, Diane Weaver Arnold and Anne Isbell; extended family, Robin Isbell, Kimberly Isbell Williford, Brysen Rogers and beloved pit bull, Bailey; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 8pm at Berryhill Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday at 11am at Shiloh United Methodist Church (495 Ryland Pike – Huntsville, AL 35811) with Rev. Samuel Pierce officiating. Mrs. Driver will lie in state one hour prior to service for viewing. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
