Funeral service for Edith Aldridge Sandlin, 91, will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Wells officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Interment will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery . Visitation will be Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Sandlin died on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born May 15, 1931, in Lawrence County, to Felix Lonzo Aldridge and Irene Agnes Adair Aldridge.
She was employed by Copeland Corporation as an Accountant, prior to her retirement. She was a member of Hartselle First Methodist Church, loved her children, grandkids and and her “grand-dogs”. She enjoyed antiques, doing jig-saw puzzles and traveling.
Preceding her in death were her husband: David Mason Sandlin, a brother: Bernard Aldridge and her parents.
