Edgar “Dale” Melton, 87, of Decatur passed away on October 14, 2023 in Decatur. His visitation will be on Thursday October 19, 2023 at Ridout’s Brown-Service funeral home chapel from 12:00 PM and 1:00 PMĀ with a graveside following the visitation at Roselawn cemetery.
He is preceded in death by his son Ronnie Dale Melton and Wife Rita Faye Melton .
He is survived by a daughter Anita Cross and husband John of Decatur, Two brothers Harold Wayne Melton and Wendell Melton. Two grandchildren William Cross, Laura Dodd.
