Eddie Van Hall, 78, of Gadsden, Alabama, peacefully passed away on May 2, 2025. He was born on March 7, 1947, in Piedmont, AL.
Eddie had a deep love for Piedmont football, history, western movies, and above all, making people laugh. Known for his generous heart, quick wit, and kind spirit, he was a devoted father and a loyal friend—the kind of man who would give the shirt off his back to help someone in need.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Jeanette Hall, and his sister, Carolyn Harrison.
Eddie is survived by his brother, Roger Hall (Carolyn Hall); sister, Juanette Hall; daughters, Tammy Hall and Lisa Easterwood (Terry Easterwood); son, Brian Hall (Christine Hall); five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 2:00 PM at Nances Creek Baptist Church. Food will be served, and all friends and family are warmly invited to join us in sharing memories, laughter, and fellowship in honor of a truly special man.
