Obituary of Thomas Trimble Visitation celebrating the life of Eddie Trimble will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:30 PM on Thursday, April 17th at McPeters Funeral Home. His family will have a private service at a later date to honor him.

Thomas Edgar Trimble, “Captain Eddie”, passed away on Mar 31, 2025 at home in Corinth with his children “holding his hand”. This was an endearing phrase he often used to let others know he cared when they were going through a difficult time.

Eddie was born May 26, 1947 in Corinth. Even as a child, he was known for his huge smile, gregarious personality and keen sense of humor which led him to easily make friends with people from all walks of life. He firmly believed that a little duct tape and a few bungee cords could fix just about any of life’s problems. He was a graduate of Biggersville High School and studied automotive mechanics at Northeast Mississippi Community College. He spent his early adult years working in the trucking and boating industries and always had a calling to be near or on the water. Eddie worked many years as a service manager for marinas in Mississippi and Jacksonville, Florida. He also taught boating classes and started a yacht

delivery business that took him all over North America. He had recently moved back from Miami, Florida to his cabin in Pickwick, Tennessee.

Eddie is preceded in death by his parents, Bud and Martha Trimble; and his sisters, Faye Waldon (Travis), and Linda Lindsey.

Eddie leaves behind his three children, Judd Trimble of New Orleans, Louisiana, Mary Eaton (Wally) and Luke Trimble (Sabrina) of Corinth, Mississippi; Grandchildren, Ethan Eaton, Jack Eaton, John Eaton, Oliver Eaton, Emelia Eaton, Amber Morelock, J. Lucas Trimble, and Charlie Trimble; and sister, Gayle Mask of Corinth, MS.
