Eddie Joe Phillips, 53, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016, at his home. He was born June 15, 1963, to Elton Wayne and Mary Elizabeth Brown Phillips. He was self-employed and was owner of Phillips Company where he specialized in label printing. He was co-owner of BAM Fitness in the Auburn community. He enjoyed tinkering with computers and cars among other things. He love all of his family and especially enjoyed doing anything with his grandson, Hendrix.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 31, at the McNeece-Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Fulton with Bro. James Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in the New Chapel Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Phillips; his mother, Mary Phillips; his daughter, Kara Quartaro (Randy); and his step-daughter, Olivia Adams, all of Evergreen; one brother, Jimmy Phillips (Jan) of Alexandria, Minnesota; his grandson, Hendrix Quartaro; a nephew, Justin Phillips (Emily) of Alexandria, Minnesota; and two great-nephews, Jackson and Emerson Phillips.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Phillips; two brothers, Charles Ray and Dale Lynn Phillips; and three sisters, Mary Ann, Dorothy Sue, and Debra Kay Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Rob Woods, Jason Williams, Brian Comer, John Bowen, Matt Miller, Mitch Harrison, Scott Lewis, and Jesse Sanderson.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
