Eddie Holman, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, November 25, 2021, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford and Myrtle Smith Holman; his wife, Virginia Tease Holman; one son, Spencer “Bud” Holman; one grandson, Blake Holman; three sisters, Alice Holman, Josephine Guest, and Mary Harris; and three brothers, John Holman, Tom Holman, and Charlie Inman.
He is survived by two daughters, Glenda Fisher of Lawrenceburg, TN and Brenda Shaffer of Florence, AL; one son, Jimmy Holman (Leah) of Lawrenceburg, TN; eight grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, November 27, 2021, with Gary Marks officiating. Interment will follow at Granny Belew Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
