Eddie Dean Smith, age 56, of Cherokee, AL , passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017. His visitation will be Friday, September 29th , from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral will be Saturday, September 30th in the funeral home chapel with Lisa Pharr officiating.
Mr. Smith was a native of Searcy, Arkansas and a welder at TBEI Fabrication since 1998. He was an avid biker who participated in the Trail of Tears and was also member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Olen and Dorothy Smith.
Survivors include his wife, Denise Smith; sons, Charles D. Smith and David A. Owens; daughter, Angela L. Haas; brothers, Harold E. Smith, Gerald W. Smith, Norman L. Smith and Danny L. Smith; sisters, Brenda Dian Adcock; grandchildren, Faith, Hope and Joy Haas, Sofia and Gideon Smith, Cyri Whitehead and Dnysa Holmon.
