Ed Stover, age 78 of Oakman, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Walker Baptist Medical Center. He was a member of Odom Craft Lodge #585 and President of UMWA Local Union 7813.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel, with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Joe M. Fowler will officiate.
Mr. Stover was preceded in death by his Father-John B. Stover; Mother-Earvel Dockery Stover; Brothers-Roland Stover and Olen Ray “Blue” Stover; Daughter-Donna Stover Moreland.
He is survived by his Wife-Bobbie Jo Taff Stover; Daughters-Debbie Dugger and Stacy R. Stover; Sister-Virgina Fowler; Grandchildren-Christopher “Chris” Myers, Jessica Fite, Justin Myers and Marcus Hudson; 5 Great Grandchildren; Host of family and friends.
