Ed Gott, 81, of Lexington, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025. Ed was a veteran of the United States Army. After retiring from Dairyman and Land O’Lakes in California, he moved to Alabama and retired from Thompson Gas.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Lenoir and Viola Gott; brothers, Eugene Gott and Lewis Gott; stepson, Randy Allen. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Gott; sons, Brian (Beverly) Gott, Michael Allen; grandchildren, Ashley Atwell, Seth Gott, Austen Gott, Savannah Mayfield, Kayla and Randy, Rebecca (Anthony) Lee, Adam (Stacie) Ramey, Kourtney (Jordan) Davis; great-grandchildren, Hailey Atwell, Chase Atwell, Wyatt Atwell, Mazie Gott, Haisley Lee, Kasen Lee and Jaxson Ramey; brother, Robert (Gertie) Gott; and sister Annita (Frank) Fortner.
